For many interns, the path to licensure may be a bit confusing. There are many way to obtain licensure and many rules and regulations for each path. NCARB's main role is to facilitate licensure using three components: Education, Experience, and Examination.
There are 55 jurisdictions that are NCARB members, all these jurisdictions require a license to practice architecture and have their own requirements. This course gives an overview of NCARB accreditation, licensure, exams and certification.
After attending this program, participants will be able to:
1. Understand the three main components of the NCARB licensure process; Education, Experience and Examination.
2. Understand the importants of a NABB-accredited college degree and education alternatives.
3. Understand the AXP Guidelines, tasks, experience settings and reporting hours.
4. Understanding the ARE, structure, policies & resources.
