AIA Wichita is gearing up for their 17th Annual Golf Tournament! This year's tourney will be held at Crestview Country Club on Friday, October 4th. Tee off will be at noon. Last year our 36 team tournament sold-out quickly! We expect this year will be no different.
The AIA Wichita golf tournament provides yearly scholarships to the architecture programs at both Kansas State University and the University of Kansas. All of the remaining funds are being used to create endowments at both schools to provide additional scholarships each year and therefore benefiting the AEC community in Wichita.
Your entry fee includes: green fees, cart rental, Lunch, awards ceremony and access to the driving range. The format for the tournament will be a 4-person scramble, two flight tournament and we will play with the 'par is my friend' rules (meaning after you hit par, you pick up your ball. this helps to move the tournament along).
In addition, we sell mulligans for the day, they are $80/team (or $20 per person). There is also an option to "Pay to Drop" on 14. This allows your team to drop at 150 yards on a par 5 and hit one from there it is $50/team and option to pay on the course or here with purchase of your team.
